The first day of celebrations of Arfai‘s 20th anniversary, on the 18th December 2015, was marked by the release of the company’s new logo and by an unexpected musical surprise dedicated to all the company’s workers and present guests.
During the visit to the factory facilities, a group of students from the Musical Academy of Alcobaça surprised everything and everyone with a beautiful musical moment in the factory. The concert started subtly with the artists coming from different directions, while sharing the same rhythm, to gather all together in a unexpected concert that cheered up not only the almost 40 guests present that morning, but mainly the almost 80 workers in the factory.
The surprise was a result of a proposal made by the Academy to Arfai, on the framework of its 20th anniversary, and it that was immediately accepted by the company’s administration.
That morning continued with a nice lunch that gathered in the same table all of the invited guests. Town and Village hall, NERLEI managing board, some international clients, local bank and press representatives were some of the many guests present that assisted to Arfai’s new visual identity release.
In a speech that looked forward to focus the key factors of the nowadays’ success, Carla Moreira, Arfai’s general manager since the very beginning, presented Arfai’s new look: “Arfai is now in blue shades accompanied by an elegant swallow that, celebrating the memory of the past, came to challenge the future and to propose the company to fly higher and beyond” said Carla Moreira.
Before the end, there was enough time for other guests’ to share a few words. Luís Malhó, NERLEI vice president, on behalf of this association of the Leiria Region, congratulated the company by stressing out its persistent character and the human resources appreciation that it is made within the company. Paulo Inácio, Mayor of Alcobaça, also congratulating the company’s activity during the past 20 years, praised in his turn Arfai for its positive role in the local economy.
