Arfai 2016 collection presented a series of new designs such as “Zig-Zag” – a line that is just too sweet to handle. But where does this tenderness come from? 

All started with a challenge to create something small. 
In a period where interior design main trends seem to be leaving (a lot) of space for decorative elements, accepting them anywhere, the idea was to develop pieces that would fit in any corner: in that narrow shelf in the bathroom, in the small corner of the desk or simply using them to complete that decorative center in the living room sideboard.

And what’s next? A piece of carton. 
A piece of a simple face corrugated board lost somewhere on the desk gave the next guiding lines. The carton’s wavy texture awakened our creative team that immediately worked this simple graphic pattern, the zig-zag.

Small, rounded shape and graphic texture: a conjugation of elements that turned out to be the perfect combination in a line that is melting everyone’s heart.

The pieces were presented during Ambiente Fair in shades of green and blue and also in a sophisticated scratched silver finishing to show the line’s versatility that is able to fit any interiors style.
