Arfai proudly celebrated International Women’s Day with a special initiative to honor the women who play a vital role in the company.
Around 88% of our workforce is made up of women – therefore we understand the importance of recognizing and valuing the exceptional contributions of our female employees. In recognition of this, we decided to create a tribute song to celebrate the dedication, passion and talent of our women.

The song – A Peça que Faltava (The Missing Piece, in english) – was written and produced by the musician Churky, and will be part of his next album. Inspired by the company’s history and the strength of its women, “the song captures the unique essence of Arfai Ceramics and highlights the fundamental role of women in our business success”, says CEO Carla Moreira.
“We couldn’t have had a better musician to collaborate with us on this project than Churky. He dedicated himself to this initiative right from the start and his talent can be seen in the music he created,” explains Carla Moreira proudly.

The song was officially launched and presented to the team during a snack on International Women’s Day, attended by around 70 people. During the event, Churky had the opportunity to sing the song live, and the music video was presented, entirely recorded at the factory and with the participation of the team, before they found out about this surprise.

This initiative not only recognizes the crucial role of women in the company, but also highlights the company’s commitment to valuing and celebrating the diversity and talent of its entire team.
