Flea Markets, antique shops, our grandma’s house – when the goal is to create something new, these are the places where one can find the best sources of inspiration to transform the memories of the past in future. Indeed, it was in a grandma’s dining room that “Refresh” was born, inspired by the emblematic glass cups from Marinha Grande, commonly known as the “pointed” glasses.
“Refresh” brought into ceramics the value of manual faceting, a technique initially used in the production of these glasses back in the 19th century, giving it a renewed final look. And so, the usual ceramics development process passed through the hands of a craftsman experienced in the art of glass, who worked the surface of the mother shape to create thorough pointed texture that defines and distinguishes this line.
One other proof of the flexibility ceramics offers, allowing us to make almost any idea coming true.
